BTMS 50 a 50% Active BTMS

The ChemConx BTMS 50 is a high active vegetable based, cationic conditioner and emulsifier. It is our 50% active Behenyl (C22) quaternary conditioning agent and cationic emulsifier in pastille form. It has no ethoxylated ingredients, and has the highest activity level available.

BTMS 50 offers formulators an efficient easy to use cationic conditioning product with emulsifying properties for hair and skin care products. The BTMS 50 is a vegetable based viscosity modifier and emulsion stabilizer. BTMS 50 is widely used in all kinds of hair care products like detanglers, and relaxers, and is also popular in lotions, scrubs, creams, and other popular personal care emulsions.

It is both a mild primary emulsifier and an effective conditioning agent, which provides elegant cationic emulsions for both skin and hair care products. The BTMS 50 has a high percentage of cationic conditioning agents, making it effective for use in a wide variety of skin and hair care products. In hair care, it is very popular in leave-on conditioners, as well as more traditional rinse off hair care products.

Vegetable based. The Behentrimonium Methosulfate is a quaternary ammonium salt derived from the natural plant oil Colza, commonly known as Rapeseed Oil.
